I'm not really the VOCene editor anymore, but I guess I just couldn't
get enough so I'm sending out this special VOCene!
I. Trip Reports
1) Wedding, Squamish-Cheakamus Divide and North Joffre Horseshoe
Scott Nelson and Sandra Nicol succeeded in getting married in
beautiful weather in the Callaghan Valley. Congratulations! Their
report also includes a few ski traverses they did afterwards.

II. Upcoming Events and Trips
1) Sea to Sky LRMP Open House, Apr. 24
The S2S LRMP has been released by the government. The winter
recreation part isn't done yet however. Nevertheless there is an open
house in North Vancouver tomorrow (Thursday) night where information
on the plan will be presented. Since the government finally scheduled
one of these meetings in the Lower Mainland (usually they are in
Squamish, Whistler, or Pemberton) we should go and voice our
opinions... especially since the winter recreation portion is still
being decided.
