Hey,
Good question! Having medical insurance during climbing trips into the US (or any other country, for that matter) can prevent a pretty major fiscal headache. The Co-operators were frequently recommended amongst the VOC for a while, but they've stopped offering insurance for climbers.
The ACC (https://www.alpineclubofcanada.ca/acc-trip-insurance/) recommendsTuGo (https://www.tugo.com/en/company/contact-us/) for Emergency Medical Insurance among other things. It's ~$20 for a couple of days, which is pretty reasonable.
