* Kids On Wheels (http://inmagicland.com/2015/09/kids-on-wheels-east-van/) Needs Cycling Instructors

Maya Goldstein, a longtime VOCer, is now running a non-profit called Kids On Wheels (http://www.bccc.bc.ca/kids_on_wheels) . She needs some instructors for two 5-day sessions on UBC campus in April. Who wants to help teach kids the joys of cycling? She's made a message board posting here (http://www.ubc-voc.com/phorum5/read.php?1,117350) if you're interested.

Hey Ms Manners,

The rock climbing season's nearly upon us, and I'm getting antsy. I really want to climb rock! I also still want to go skiing. How do I choose, Ms Manners? HOW DO I CHOOSE?!

Thanks in advance,
Indecisive

Hi,

I honestly have no idea. It's even hard to pick what kind of skiing to do right now--the crevasses are nice and closed up but at the same time the powder skiing has been just phenomenal. And given how deep the snow is, the spring traverse season could probably extend practically into June, so you might have this indecisiveness for a while. If it helps your decision making process at all, you can also go biking (http://www.ubc-voc.com/tripagenda/details.php?tripid=1174) if you like.

I guess that doesn't help at all, does it.

Sorry,
Ms Manners
