Description:

Summer's here and it's great outside to go bike touring!

The plan is to explore Galiano island and its nice beaches for the weekend. We'll bike from a to-be-anounced meeting point on Friday to the George Massey Tunnel, take a shuttle through the tunnel and then conitnue riding until we reach the ferry terminal in Tsawassen. Another option would be to put your bike on the bus down to Tsawassen. Once we arrive at Sturdies Bay on Galiano we'll bike for about 7km to the camp site at Montague Harbour Marine Provincial Park. We'll spend Saturday exploring the island. Then return Sunday before dark. Hopefully this doesn't fall into a rainy weekend!

You should have at least a cycle commuting fitness if you're down to join. I don't have much experience with bike maintanence, so if anyone with some knowledge would like to join, that would be awesome!

At the pre-trip meeting we will discuss bike set-up faff, what to pack, meeting point, and route.
