Description:

Who's interested in a little bootpacking for some spring skiing? Elfin Lakes is still full of snow, with about 5 km of bootpacking (snow starts somewhere along the trail up to Red Heather) The weather is warm and inviting, the views breathtaking and the snow soft. Open to travelling further than Elfin Lakes, though someone with wayfinding skill is needed.

Option to stay in tents or cabin.

Stuff needed:

Skis, avi gear, waterproof pants and jacket, layers (It'll get hot!), food, shelter if you decide to camp outside (it cost $10 to camp and $15 to stay in the hut) and other fun stuff.

I am not a great skiier and adequate skiing skills are required for the trip.

Celebrate the start of spring/summer!
