Description:

This is the annual adventure in which we kayak up the Indian Arm. We will be renting double kayaks from Deep Cove (approximately $85/person, maybe a little more), or you can bring your own kayak if you have one, have knowledge of kayak safety, and the means to transport said kayak. We will leave from Deep Cove on Saturday morning (depart in boats at 9:00 AM) and kayak up to the top of the Indian Arm, where we will camp at Granite Falls. Because kayaks allow more weight to be carried than on your back, there will be a dessert/drink potluck on Saturday night. This is a beginner friendly trip, no previous paddling experience is necessary to use one of the double kayaks because the double kayaks that can be rented from Deep Cove are super stable.

Looking for more people with kayak safety training (personal and team resuces) to join the trip because we need a 1:6 ratio of experienced to unexperienced people.
