Start: Sunday, Nov. 2nd, 8:15 am

Description:

Sunday is looking to be cloudy, and if you aren't looking at Weather Canada it will be rainy (have a little faith), it's looking to be a bit rainy now too but I figure we can brave the elements and get in a bit of a hike!

The hike itself is a portion of the Baden-Powell trail extending from Horseshoe Bay up to Eagles Bluffs and Black Mountain on Cypress. From here we can gauge interest and decide to continue east down into Cypress resort (water refills!) and head down to British Properties (and potentially continue to Capilano) or just go back down to Horseshoe bay.

This is a good little blurb about the trail: This

The plan is to meet downtown on Georgia at Seymour at 8:15 to catch the #250 bus to Horseshoe bay at 8:36 (as per google maps). If you are already over the bridge you could meet us at the trailhead at 9:30 although don't plan on returning here.

It's way too late for a pretrip, and one isn't necessary anyways. Feel free to text (or call) me at 604-788-0758 or email me at [email protected] // <![CDATA[ (function(){try{var s,a,i,j,r,c,l,b=document.getElementsByTagName("script");l=b[b.length-1].previousSibling;a=l.getAttribute('data-cfemail');if(a){s='';r=parseInt(a.substr(0,2),16);for(j=2;a.length-j;j+=2){c=parseInt(a.substr(j,2),16)^r;s+=String.fromCharCode(c);}s=document.createTextNode(s);l.parentNode.replaceChild(s,l);}}catch(e){}})(); // ]]> with any questions, comments, concerns, or fun facts.

Things you should bring: A jacket (it will rain). A sweater (you may get cold). Boots of some sort (the trail is pretty well kept, but boots > runners, and there are couple brief rocky portions). A lunch (and snacks!). Something to drink (A couple liters is always good). Optionally, all the other stuff that shows up on various lists.

Sorry for the late notice, but it would be lovely for anyone interested to join.
