I. Upcoming Events and Trips
1) Son of Rock (Learn to climb rock!) - May 28th-29th
Pretrip is TONIGHT in the clubroom at 6PM! This is the VOC's spring instructional climbing trip. Instruction will range from the basics of tying in to leading trad climbing.

4) Phelix Work Hike #1 - June 4th-5th
Contribute to the club by coming up to the beautiful Brian Waddington hut for a bit of recon and cleaning, in preparation for replacing windows later in the summer. No experience required, and there will be time to have fun!

1) Past trips and events

- Some VOC'ers headed down to the Wenatchee River whitewater kayaking festival, apparently involving some driving with only the e-brake!
- Laura C. enjoyed some nice turns up at Seymour; still plenty of snow up there apparently! Another group went to Cypress, including Dan. E for his first time back on skis in 6 years. Congrats Dan!
2) From the exec's desk
Our trusty Archivist Gili is looking for a copy of VOCJ47, either to keep for the club or to scan for the website. If you have a copy that you'd be willing to lend or donate to the club, fire him or the VOCene editor an email!
III. Miscellaneous
1) 2010 journals available for pickup
If you haven't grabbed your VOC Journal yet, you are really missing out! This year's journal is packed with epicness, hilarity, and thought-provoking discussion about the outdoors, the VOC, and everything in between. The cost of the Journal is included in your membership fee, so you owe nothing for your first copy. If you'd like more than one, extra copies are available for $20.
2) Rewards and incentives for trip organizers
