Description:

Hello up-and-coming Telemark Skiers!

The world of backcountry skiing opens up another season of activity and another world of beauty. For those of us that can't stand the thought of spending another winter stuck in the city waiting for summer, it is time... Winter is coming.

This will be a one day instructional even held at the Seymour Mountain resort on the North Shore. Groups will be organized with a teacher based on the following skill levels:

Beginner 1 - You have never skied - or almost never.

Beginner 2Know how to do snowplow AND parallel turns on downhill skis, but never telemarked.

IntermediateKnow how to do a telemark turn, and can link them on low angle runs.

*Extras -  people who dont want to be part of the school, but would like the group ticket price if not enough students so they can do some cheaper skiing on Seymour that day.

$$: You will need to pay for a lift ticket, and each group will be responsible for paying for their instructors ticket (they are volunteering their time after all).  The tickets will be about $55, and instructors will be free! These fees must be paid in advance, starting sometime before the event (at least by the pre trip meeting). More details as the day gets closer.

If you have any further questions please post them on the message board for others to see - chances are someone has the same question as you. Otherwise, you can email me personally. :)

Cheers and hope to see many of you out there!
