Description:
Welcoming all climbers, friends and friends wanting to get into climbing for 2017!
The VOC pairs up with the VRCG (Vancouver Rock Climbing Group) for an open-to-all dinner, complete with speakers, jamming, acroyoga and other shenanigans.
This is an opportunity to meet your community of kind, generous, open-minded climbers and non-climbers alike. We will cook, eat and share stories together, support each other and make clilmbing plans and friends! An important part of this will be welcoming newcomers and connecting a broader climbing community. Dinner will be by donation or bring some potluck food to share.
The deets:
1-6pm:
Climbing at The Aviary - optional
(Need to know how to belay!)
5pm: Volunteers gather at 5pm to cook an anchor dish. (vounteers needed!)
The rest of the people come at 6:30pm. Dinner by donation or bring some food to share.
Dinner is potluck & pizza - no volunteers needed for cooking now. :)
