Description:

Hola comrades. The long weekend is coming up and I'm really keen to head out to Horne Lake on the island for some steep bolt clipping. I've heard great things about the sport climbing there and would love to go before it gets even hotter.

The climbing there starts in the high 10s so consider that before signing up. It's also pretty overhanging so lead climbing is a pretty handy skill (at the minimum you should be able to lead belay).

I'm posting this with haste and minimal research into logistics but the likely scenario will play out like so: Friday afternoon ferry to the island and drive to the campground near the crag. Climb until Monday evening and then reverse the process.

I don't have a car so this trip relies on someone volunteering theirs.

Cheers. Christufa.
