Description:

Edit: The trip is cancelled, due to commitments involving a baby (though not mine).

The idea is to do a kind of a speedy traverse, starting at the Sea to Sky Gondola and ending up at Murrin park.

This would involve scrambling up Sky Pilot, going up or around Copilot, running along Goat Ridge, then dropping down to the highway via the Petgill lake trail. Maybe post-run dip at Browning lake.

We'd walk the uphills and run the flats/downs-well probably anyway.

We might get up there and decide that it's too sketchy to gain Goat ridge and just run back down to the Gondola. We'll see.

Participants should be:

>Fit enough to run when it's flat/downhill and walk up things at brisk-ish pace. We'd cover roughly 17km and ~1500m elevation gain. Add ~850m if not taking the Gondola up. We'll decide if we ride the gondola or not as a group.

>Comfortable with exposed scrambling and traveling at a reasonable pace through potentially actually rough mountain terrain

>Have a helmet to run with/wear at the scrambly sections

There will be no pre-trip meeting.
