Description:

Hi everyone.

I am leading a kayak trip to Pender Island and in order to rent kayaks we had to practice kayak self rescuing. I realised that practicing kayak self rescuing is really fun, so I'd like to organise another session where we can practice kayak self rescuing!

I have two kayaks that we can use to practice self rescuing and then also two sit-on-top kayaks, so four of us in total can go down and practice.

When you sign up please let me know your previous experience with kayaking and whether you can swim (I imagine most of you will meet the second requirement!).

If you come, please try to rent a wetsuit from the club, because it can get very cold if you're in the water for a long time. We'll also need to make sure we can get enough paddles (I have four lifejackets though).
