Description:

Mount Harvey is one of the summits within Cypress Provincial Park. It is a challenging hike due to the steep, uphill slog (average grade of 20%) but the views of Howe Sound are amazing. There is a bit of a scramble to the summit, but nothing too technical. Elevation gain is over 1400m; this will be a full day trip.

The hike should be largely snow-free. There may be some snowy patches at the higher elevations but the ridge leading up to the summit should be clear.

You should be able to hike fast and light with proper hiking boots and at least 2L of water.
