Description:

Wow! Running!

Nick, Jess, and Joe are proud to bring you STEPCHILD OF TRAIL!!!

Do you run trails? Or do you run roads, and want to try running trails? Or have you run before, and heard of trail running, and would think maybe it would be kind of fun? Great! We will be headed out to *probably* Manning Park for a radical weekend of choose-your-adventure trail running, cushy car camping, and eating a truly egregious amount of food. Seriously, we’re going to eat so much food.

Interest levels from 5k to 50k are welcome!

The plan is to drive out Saturday morning and run during the day. After feasting and camping Saturday evening, people can choose their own adventures for Sunday. There will be more trail running options for those looking a second day of running. There are also plenty of hiking trails and other options in the area.

During the mandatory pre-trip meeting, we will help people find groups interested in similar runs. If you cannot attend the pretrip you must email me ahead of time and send a surrogate.

Prerequisites
Attend the pre-trip meeting
Have tried running and own running shoes
An emergency blanket, or a running partner with one. $7 at MEC.

Things that Aren’t Prerequisites
