Description:

Friday night at 5PM, leaving campus to head to Squamish. We'll take the VOC canoe across the squamish 2 at a time, then Heading up to echo lake Friday night and camping there.  You could also hire squamish riverjet if you wanted. We can try to hit the river at high tide so the current isnt so strong. This is 7:46 Pm on Friday and 8:39PM on Sunday

After making it to the lake (probably dark) we'll crash and hopefully not get eaten alive by the mosquitos. Saturday morning I'll wake up early and try my hand at landing a trout or two. When everyone else wakes up We'll saunter up Lapworth and over towards Conybeare. I understand the "trail" is pretty sparce here, so it will probably end up looking like a bushwack instead. I'm hoping to make it from Lapworth to conybeare and back to a Tarn on the East side of Lapworth Saturday. Sunday is reserved for the hike out. If groups want to break off Saturday to do different hikes that's fine by me.

This trip is practically limited by the number of people with boats and the number of cars we get to carry boats. Boats can of course make multiple trips. The club canoe will be chained up and locked on the other side.
