Description:

Hi everyone,

Last weekend I hiked Hannegan Pass and Peak which is a trail that goes to a mountain peak adjacent to Mount Baker in Washington. I had a really good time, so I want to go back on a trail running trip.

This is an image of the trail map. I would like to run from the trailhead (the You Are Here label) up to Hannegan Peak (not labelled on the map, but Hannegan Peak is above Hannegan Camp) and then depending on how we are feeling continue on to Egg Lake. Last weekend we only hiked to Hannegan Peak, not to Egg Lake.

Depending on how numbers work out, we could maybe have a group of hikers and a group of runners. I can fit six people in my van excluding myself. I'll give priority to runners though.

Please sign up for this trip if you're interested! If you sign up, please let me know whether you're interested in running or hiking this trail. If you sign up as a runner, please let me know your previous experience with trail running or just regular running. Because this trail is at a reasonably high elevation (and of course there's less oxygen than at sea level) only people who are in reasonably good running shape will be able to come as runners.

Of course you will also need to be able to get into the US to come on this trip.

Here's a description of the trail to Hannegan Peak:

By the way, sorry about the huge whitespace above the image - the whitespace is part of the image, and I can't remove it.

Thanks!
