Description:

We’re doing this on a weekday to make it very unlikely that there will be anybody else at the Snowspider Hut, because hut is small. Trip should unfold as follows: Day one, (WED) drive up from Vancouver to Pemberton, and a bit further, to Twin One FSR, where we will find a large ditch preventing us from driving the FSR. Park the Jeep, and start walking. After walking 11.2 km on the deactivated road, while gaining about 1000m elevation, put up the tent and go to sleep. Day two, (THU) get out the GPS and navigate to the Snowspider Hut, a distance of 3.4 km while gaining 259m. Leave the tent on the road. Day three, (FRI) walk back to the road, pick up the tent, walk back to the Jeep and drive home.

If for some reason we cannot make it to the night one tent spot, we’ll go to Skookumchuk Hot Spring instead.

If you want a seat in the Jeep, sign up the usual way and I will email you.

If you need a tent spot or food or whatever, just ask.  We have lots of stuff.
