Description:
On this workhike we will be doing some pre-outhouse construction tasks:
- Helicopter up outhouse materials and the steel door
- Install the outhouse foundation
- Install the steel door
- Apply a second coat of paint on the installed door
See the message board thread for progress so far. A 8 person party would be perfect but more are welcome if there is interest and we have the cars to make it work.
There will be a second workhike the next weekend for constructing the outhouse structure on the foundation that we construct this weekend (the concrete needs time to set).
The safety rules regarding the Helicopter need to be brefied with everyone prior to interaction with the Helicopter. At the airfield on the 2nd before the Helicopter departs everyone needs to be present for a safety briefing. The VOC will be purchasing some safety cards that we will pass out on the trip for you to borrow.
