A word from him:

Hi! This summer I have discovered that swimming in the open water can be a lot of fun! But I didn’t want to stop exploring BC’s backcountry so me and Martin Cermak came up with an idea of swim touring (or swimpacking, name it how you wish) – We thought we’d put all necessary stuff for surviving in the outdoors for multiple days into a drybag and tow it behind us while swimming to a different shore where we’d stay overnight to continue swimming on the next day. On Thursday I will be talking about how this idea worked out on practice and how many attempts (and lost money) it took us to translate something from an idea into a fist ever (?) real swimpacking trip. I will also discuss the gear that I was using, some stories from the trips and will show some pics and videos. You will have the opportunity to share you thoughts or argue with me about how stupid this whole idea is. In any case It's gonna be entertaining!
