Description:
So there has been a change of plans. We decided at the pretrip meeting to go and explore the trail to Battleship Lake and the surrounding area.

Currently we are a one car group. The plan is to drive up late Friday or early Saturday, hike/bushwack up to the lake Saturday, explore above the lakes, possible go up something while the weather is pleasant, camp by the lake get up in the rain and hike out.

The road past Lizzie should be two wheel drive accessible to the 6km mark and four wheel drive accessible to the 9km mark (1300m). From there there is 500m elevation gain and 2.5km of hiking to reach Battleship Lake.
I believe the trail has been worked on since the trip report above but there may be some bushwacking.
