Description:

We are going to Joffre Lakes this Sunday to enjoy the possibly good weather. We'll be taking snowshoes in case we need them. There's no park admission fee.

Beginner-friendly trip, and a nice opportunity to mingle with three truly excited mountaineers from South America who have lots of stories and experiences to share!

We'll be renting a car and have only 02 spots available in it. We will split the costs into equal parts (+/- 20 to 30 bucks each person). If more people become interested, they will need their own car.

What to take: snowshoes, snacks/food for the day, water, basic winter clothes, headlamp.

Meeting place: one block from Waterfront Station, Vancouver, at 7:30 am. On the way back, we can negotiate drop-off locations, as we'll be heading back to Burnaby (Lougheed Town Centre).

We expect to be back at night, at around 21:00. We may stop over in Whistler for a beer or coffee on the way back, depending on the interest of everybody. Or we may just head back home.

That's it! Please sign up and contact me for more info.
