Description:

Very last minute, but lets head to Lighthouse Park for some chilled Sunday evening routes! This is a mostly top rope area, with short routes and the majority of grades 5.8-10a. I only plan to top rope on this trip. This is therefore a beginner friendly event, but I still expect you to be able to tie in and belay safely (rock 1 level) - I will NOT be teaching these basic skills, but happy to show people anchor set up etc.

Everyone is responsible for their own personal gear (shoes, harness, belay). I have one rope and anchor set-up. Ideally someone else will sign up who has another. The area is small, and its a sunny Sunday near vancouver, so I do expect it to be busy. Therefore this may just be a one car trip, but if we have the option of 2 cars we can take more - just be aware there will be a lot of waiting around for routes! I will drive and can take 4 passengers.

If climbing psyche and bugs aren't too bad, it would be nice to hang around till sunset, but we'll see how everyone is feeling.  I've never climbed here before so expect a little route finding and navigational faff, but it should be straightforward enough :)  No pre-trip, email logistics will be fine.

I'll finalise plans and email by midday on Sunday!
