You're busy juggling sports and your life. But you care about climate change. How can you easily help? Come and eat a FREE DINNER (and Cartems donuts) on October 8th and learn about how you can easily leverage your role to help make the world a better place today and tomorrow. Details below!

Where: BC Hydro Theatre, the Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability, UBC Campus, 2260 West Mall
What: Free dinner! Mingling with other athletes and climate leaders! Brief talks from climate experts!

Join fellow athletes for a workshop and social on how athletes can be key drivers of climate action. The United Nations’ Sports for Climate Action just recognized that sports can and should be a “unifying tool to federate and create solidarity among global citizens for climate action.” Come get free dinner, meet and mingle with other athletes who care about climate change, and listen to brief talks from athletic leaders and climate communication experts on the urgency of the climate crisis and effective strategies for climate action. Athletes of any level are welcome and this event is for sports lovers from across the region (not just UBC athletes)!
