Description:

If it's raining in Vancouver, it's snowing in the mountains. Right? Right?

Being really jealous of the early season in the Rockies has got some people so desperate to ski that they'll do anything. Are you one of us? Come on this trip! If not, please call the white powder addiction hotline and get us some help.

We trust the weather forecasts enough to believe them when they say thet 70cm of snow will fall in 48 hours in undisclosed locations. Where are these magical places you ask? Come to the pretrip! We'll hike up to the alpine where we have the best chance of finding the fluffy stuff. Expect to hike 1000m vert before strapping on the planks.

This trip has:

a sufferfest forecast of 3/5 (Some suffering likely, but could be worth it)

an epic forecast of 1.5/5 (It is fairly well planned and not totally crazy)

You must be:

- a confident skiier, familiar with early season backcountry bullshit (rocks/rocks/mud)

- Aware that hiking 1000m with skis on your pack kind of sucks

- Someone with winter backcountry camping experience, cus we may not have a hut

- A beliver of the fact that if your skis touch snow, it counts as a day of skiing
