Description:

Please check out the club’s new guidelines prior to signing up for this or any trip. Given the resurgence of coronavirus cases in BC we'll keep the group small and make sure to mask up while in the car on the way to/from the trailhead.

Mount Rohr is a wonderful destination in the Duffey just a bit past Pemberton and I'd like to get out there for a weekend while the weather is hopefully still decent. From the top we should get views of the Joffre area (which is a rarity this summer with the park still closed) and many other Coast Range peaks. The plan is to leave early on Saturday and backpack in to a base camp at lovely Rohr Lake. From there we can do some day hiking and/or scrambling up to the nearby summit(s), depending on the weather. I'd rate this trip as intermediate so attendees should ideally have some amount of backpacking/scrambling experience.
