Description:

Hi, I am interested in doing a day trip to Cypress peak which is south of Brandywine Mountain in the Squamish-Cheak Divide.

First off, please check out the club’s new guidelines prior to signing up for this or any trip. Given the resurgence of coronavirus cases in BC we'll keep the group small and make sure to mask up while in the car (if carpooling).

Here is the mountain forecast at Cypress Peak : https://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Cypress-Peak/forecasts/2308. Currently the forecast looks very nice for the weekend, but as always, it is good to keep any eye on the weather.

This is a day trip and will require all the hiking equipment recommended in the voc guide for a day trip. Because scrambling is involved, a helmet and sturdy hiking boots are definitely recommended.

This trip does not involve a pretrip meeting, I will contact over email regarding further details and trip logistics.
