I've decided that since I can't see my family for Thanksgiving, a trip to Manning park to absorb the crisp fall air is in order.

I also got a dog a couple months ago and would like to take him on his first camping trip!

The plan at the moment is to hike Heather trail in Manning Prov. Park to Kickinghorse site on Saturday, hike from Kickinghorse to Nicomen lake and back to Kickinghorse Sunday, and then out to the parking lot Monday.

I'm open to suggestions in terms of planning so let me know if there's anything else along the way you'd like to do! Summiting first brother could be fun. Overall though would like this to be a fairly chill trip, so as long as you're comfortable carrying a backpack it should be doable.

I have space in my car for ~4 other people (with masks!). Others with vehicles are welcome to join though.

Reminder that everyone (unless housemates/same bubble) will need their own tents and food due to covid safety stuff.

Please email me if you have any questions! [email protected]
