Description:

Hi all! I really need some fresh air and a break from all this screentime and studying! I've never paddled at Alouette, but its about 2 hours total of a paddle.

I was thinking we could try to rent some clubhouse gear - I know the VOC has a double folding kayak as well as a canoe to rent at their discretion. If it gets approved, I was hoping to use the kayak (room for one other) since I'm not too great at tying canoes on top of cars, and don't have a car myself to tie it on. So if you wanted to rent the canoe, you'd need a vehicle and knowledge/prior experience with transporting and handling it. If you have your own gear thats even better!

Some drivers on this trip would be cool, but if not I can rent an evo and split it with a few others! Also, since its relatively low elevation and its supposed to be sunny (although it could change) camping along the lake is also an option!

If you're interested, sign up ASAP so I can request gear, and we can discuss travel details! Good luck with all your midterms folks!
