Description:

Trad? Sport? What does it all mean? Where do I tie in? Which loop is the belay loop? How do I ice climb in a rainy city? What's the point of chalk? What's aid climbing? Do I really need a helmet? (spoiler alert: yes, helmets are necessary) How do I get into ice climbing?

Have you had any climbing questions you just can't figure out or find answers to? Anything you're embarrassed to ask? Or just want to talk about some cool places to climb, or ways to get into the sport?

William and I will take a beginner-friendly evening Q&A to answer any questions you may have whatsoever, and just generally go over climbing equipment, how to pick rock shoes, a harness (& how to put it on), where to climb, how to (wisely) set anchors and rappel, anything that you're interested in learning about. Gear recommendations are available too, depending on how you want your equipment to function. We'll obviously take questions on the spot, but if there's anything you'd really like us to address, here is an anonymous question bank you can drop whatever it is in! Or shoot either of us an email. https://forms.gle/LKhdtShKpzNyvLRy8
