Itinerary:
In celebration of International Women's Day in March, our guest speaker for this month's social is Heather Lightfoot. We’ll start with a trip report by Heather Lightfoot on her climbing of La Esfinge, a 950-meter granite wall in Huaraz, Peru. Heather & her partner Joanna Bulmer were the recipients of the 2019 Jen Higgins Award, an ACC grant for young Canadian women. After that, we’ll have a discussion about supporting women and minorities in the mountains.
