Description:

*PLEASE NOTE THIS INFORMATION HAS CHANGED AS OF 7AM, AUG 4*

The Outrigger-Clarke traverse is a horseshoe loop from Outrigger Peak to Sun Peak (aka Mt. John Clarke). It is supposedly  beautiful! See Vincent Hanlon's VOC trip report for more details/pics. Access is also supposedly difficult: there are reports of the Outrigger Spur being completley washed out this year (so we'll be walking it). Also, the bu(rn)shwack up to Outrigger is slow/horrendous.

Jacob, Hannah, and I are hoping to do it over 4 days (fri-mon) in August. We're hoping to have some more folks join.

The trip involves alpine route-finding, scrambling, and glacier travel; ideally you're comfortable/experienced with these things. Personally I don't have too much experience in these environments so I'm not in much of a position to bring folks less experienced than me on this trip.
