Description:

Are you bummed out that you can't go on the awesome overnight trips Thanksgiving weekend? Are you coming back from an overnight and can't bear to re-enter society so soon? Come hike the chief with me!

Two week forecast says that Monday is supposed to be nice with light showers in the afternoon, so be prepared with a rain jacket just in case. I'm down to hike unless it's really nasty out. Ideally I'd like to do all three peaks, which apparently takes roughly six hours. Tea at the top is on me. Potentially a Reel Rock movie showing afterward if people are into that.

I've never done this hike or lead a trip, but based on the description I read, Intermediate hiking experience, decent shoes/rain jacket, and moderate fitness should be sufficient for anyone who wants to join.

Probably won't have a pretrip meeting unless a ton of people want to come. This trail requires a free day use permit with max 4 people/permit, so we'll organize who is going to book them the day before. If permits get booked crazy fast and not everyone can get one, we'll find a different hike nearby.
