Description:

***Postponed to Wednesday for hopefully more favourable weather***

It’s getting to be that time of year where summer's gone and you can’t wait to go wreck your bases on the early season snowpack. This also means it’s a great time to brush up on those companion rescue skillz and build some tolerance for apres ski drinks. The plan is to meet at wreck beach, go over beacon searches and do some practice, then have a race to be the first to find and dig up some hidden beacons with the best treasure of all… alcohol. Come on out and get ready for the impending ski season! YAR!!!

The plan is to meet at the top of the wreck beach stairs by the Vanier residence at 6pm then we will head down from there.

The club has a number of beacons we will bring for anyone that doesn't have their own. Below are some resources for anyone without much avy experience, or anyone that wants a refresher or just wants to procrastinate studying!
