Hi All,
All Student VOC Members get a Vancouver ACC (Alpine Club of Canada) membership with their account. Some of you may have received an email about it.
Most people should have their ACC membership inputted now. Instructions to access it are below.
The ACC is hosting their 2021 AGM and Year end Community Social at Van Dusen Floral Hall – IN PERSON SIGN UP ONLY , see other posting for zoom sign up. Registration is First-Come/First-Serve, proof of Vaccination and ID required and will be checked by Van Dusen Staff at the door. Masks must be worn inside at all times unless you are seated at a table. Seating will be at tables for participants to be able to have a beverage and enjoy some popcorn. There are only 120 table seating spots so sign up early. For those who cannot come in person, you can join by zoom and please sign up through the AGM zoom posting, not this one.
Ian Welstad will be presenting to us on his attempt to climb the west ridge of K2, alpine style with his climbing partner Graham Zimmerman. The meeting portion of the evening will be short as there is no election this year, and there are lot sof door prizes. Beers will be sold for $2 each.

You have to sign up on the ACC Signup Page, and the event is capped at 120 participants.
If you haven't signed up for your ACC membership (AND YOU ARE A VOC STUDENT MEMBER), heres how to access it:
For members to log in
1. Go to https://www.alpineclubofcanada.ca/web/signin
2. Go to "Find My profile"
1st time signing in use 1st name and email address / find person, Note this has to be the exact email you use for the VOC. For example my email on voc has a period between the 1st and last name, which doesnt make a difference in gmail, but makes a difference here.
