Description:
Seeing as there has been clear skies and zero new snow on the North Shore, and the weekend might be gross, it is the perfect time to go for a low-angle, snowy North Shore run before class!
The plan would be to meet at the top of Mountain Highway where the Baden Powell crosses the road at 7am. It's 14km round trip with ~900m elevation gain. I expect at the pace of trail running on snow, we can probably do this in 3.5-4h.
Absolutley required:
- headlamp (it'll be dark)
- microspikes (it'll be slipery)
- some experience trail running (since this is a before-class activity and we can't take all day)
- a way to get to the trailhead (it's transit accessible!)
