Description:

Edit: We will be skiing Gin peak near the Whistler Olympic Park.

I'm looking to test out my new touring setup with a couple of laps at Hollyburn, and it would be great if a few more people wanted to join. The plan is to ride mostly mellow terrain and have a fairly relaxed day of skiing. There was also some interest in skiing Gin or Telemagique instead. If more people are interested in those at the pre-trip we can switch targets.

Experience you need:
This isn't meant to be a trip for people who are totally new to the backcountry, because I'm fairly new to it myself and might not be able to teach everything. That being said, we'll be on pretty mellow terrain. So, if you've toured at least once before and are comfortable with skiing in the trees, this should be enough.

Gear you need:
Warm layers, some sort of touring setup, and avy gear (beacon, probe, shovel). Avy gear and knowing how to use it is non-optional!!!
