Start: Saturday, Feb. 12th, 6:00 am
End: Sunday, Feb. 13th, 6:00 pm
Pre-trip meeting location: Email faffing

Description:

It is tentative for 2 reasons, 1. if it rains. I hate skiing in saturated snow. 2. No one else signed up.

It is going to happen. The weather for Saturday is nice, questionable for Sunday, but we will be home then. Bring some dry clothes to change for car-ride home if we get showered on.

It is good enough if you can ski any blue runs at any north shoe resorts in any conditions. You have winter camping experience and you have a pair of reliable skies of your choice (AT or telemark), then this trip is for you!

The plan is to leave Vancouver early (6:30am at the United Church in West Vancouver), arrive at the Elfin lakes earlish, set up tent. If there is still day light, we may go for a little tree skiing. 2 cars, 8 people max. Helmet is required. AST and avi gear is nice to have but not required IF all you plan to do is to follow the winter route to Elfin Lakes.
