Description:

Hey y'all,

So, some nice snow will be falling around Red Heather these days and supposedly it will be a nice day on Sunday, perfect for some basic skiing on simple terrain.

Will be heading up there to practice skiing and playing around with beacons, probes and shovels to refresh AST1. I am by far not a professional instructor or anything but willing to share/learn. The parking lot will be probably packed so we would aim to be there early to get the best snow, can talk more about it in the pre-trip meeting.

People that want to snowshoe and snowboard down or just snowshoe up and down are also welcome to come (people just snowshoeing up and down will have to head back down before skiers).

AVI gear is required, having AST1 and helping out would be a plus. This trip is weather + avi con dependant.

Cheers,

Remzi
