Description:

Short notice climbing trip to Squamish Smoke Bluffs! Hoping to have a small group out there with minimum some experience top roping outdoors. Rock 3 preferred. Helmet, harness, and shoes required, it'd be great if people can bring rope and gear. Most climbs are accessible to set up anchors from the top so lead is not absolutely essential.

Smoke Bluffs are right in town in Squamish but mostly crack/trad so it would be rad if people are already comfortable with that style. Probably going to be chilly so layer up! I think it'll be best to stick to walls that get more sun (Neat and Cool, Burgers and Fries, Free and Easy, Penny Lane). I went out Sunday/Monday and the sun made the cold bearable!

Note that this is not instructional or for beginners (look out for Son of Rock or Rock Party) but if someone wants to come and is willing to coach their beginner friends that's fine with me.

If we don't get a group of at least 4-6 of us then I'll consider not going, but we shall see.

We can figure out rides via email or whatsapp faff.

p.s. I'm currently in Squamish but would be in search of a ride back to Van
