Description:

Hey climbing friends!

Tired of studying and writing exams? Come to the Squamish Smoke Bluffs for a day of hopefully dry crack climbing. This is not an instructional trip (keep an eye out for Son of Rock or Rock Party) so Rock 3 is strongly preferred, Rock 4 is even better. If you have a beginner friend who wants to join, by all means you may coach them if you're interested in that :) Rock 2 may be negotiated if we have enough interested.

Depending on weather/temps I think I'll probably want to stick to sunnier areas like Neat and Cool, Burgers and Fries, and Free and Easy. Depending on interest though we could have several groups at different walls though! 1 rope for ~2 people would be great so hoping to get enough interested to accomodate that too.

I am pretty flexible with dates throughout exams so if people have preferences for another or additional days, just mention it in your answer to the signup questions. If people have a strong preferance for other areas (sport climbing perhaps?) I could also definitely be convinced.

Hope to see a few of you then!

P.S. I would love it if y'all would have helmets because I personally do not enjoy the idea of having to deal with cracked skulls but you do you, I won't make it a deal breaker. You can rent them from the clubroom in case you've been wanting to buy one but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

If you signed up after April 7 please email me as I already sent out an email with the details!
