Have you been dying to go to REI or Trader Joe's? Have you watched videos of the endless pow at Mt Baker? Well lucky for you I have a reservation at a little lodge in Glacier, Washington for March 19/20.
Plan : ski Mt Baker ski resort slackcountry Saturday, stay in real beds (gasp) Saturday night, ski resort Sunday, finish a bit early to get covid testing in Bellingham, while waiting for covid results, go to Trader Joe's and REI, drive back across the border. Having AST would be sublime as we could have a safe number of people for slackcountry day.
If you wanna come, you must have a way to cross the border (passport, visa, etc) and can pay the cost of approx $50-60 for the lodge, $100ish for the resort day pass, and gas money.
This trip is dependent on a driver so hopefully someone can drive!
Strictly maxed out at 4 people, including myself, for the lodge. Using this as a way to guage interest. Email me if interested. If you want to ski with us but don't want to stay in the lodge, you can look on mt bakers website about camping in your car (no tents). Do some research before emailing me! If not enough people show interest, I can cancel the reservation.
