Description:
This trail is about 16 km and 1150 m elevation gain. The plan would be to hike up to the lake the first day and camp there, then attempt the summit the next day. The part before the summit is rated as moderate, and after that, it is more difficult, with a boulder field.
I have a car and will be driving from campus. It is a bit of a drive, about 2.5 hours. I also have a 2-person tent that can be shared with someone.

btw this is my first time planning a trip on here (and going on a trip with VOC period but I decided to plan one because none of the dates ever work for me), so I'm not totally familiar with how it all works. I'm hoping to meet some more outdoorsy people to hike and backpack with because I always want to do hard hikes but have no one to do them with! :)
I'm also open to suggestions. I'm quite an experienced hiker but not a very experienced backpacker.
