Rock Party can only happen every year because of wonderfully generous human beings (like you?!) who are willing to share their time, knowledge, and expertise around climbing with their community!
NOTE: SIGNING UP ON THE TRIP AGENDA DOES NOT GET YOU A TICKET TO ROCK PARTY.
YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED A TICKET (NOTE: instructor tickets are now sold out)

Rock 1- Basics (How to put on a harness, how to toprope belay, etc)
Rock 2- Building anchors, cleaning anchors, and rappelling
Rock 3- Sport lead climbing
Rock 4- Trad climbing
Rock 5- (Sport) Multipitch
Instructor Pretrip Meeting (MANDATORY):
When: Sept 20th at 6:00pm
Where: On campus, TBD
We will meet in person 1 hour before the main pretrip meeting which is happening from 7-9pm.

Have a friend who has the skills to instruct, but isn’t a current VOC member?
No problem! They just need to buy a ticket and sign the VOC waiver. To sign the waiver, follow these instructions:
If you already have a VOC account:
- Go to ubc-voc.com
- On the right side of the webpage, under "Join the Club", click on the "Renew your membership" button.
- Update your profile and hit "Continue" at the bottom of the page
- Complete the waiver, sign it, and hit "Submit waiver" at the bottom of the page
If you do not have a VOC account:
- Go to https://www.ubc-voc.com/members/join
- Fill out the information and hit "Continue" at the bottom of the page
- Complete the waiver, sign it, and hit "Submit waiver" at the bottom of the page
