Description:

Looking to get one more alpine lake swim in before the ice comes? Or just check out a very beautiful area with some new friends? Join me for a dayhike to Watersprite Lake!

This trail is not very technical but it is fairly long (~17 km roundtrip, with ~700 m elevation gain). Therefore, you need to be comfortable with spending a day walking, but you do not need to have a ton of hiking experience to come along. Waterproof hiking boots are a good idea (you can rent these from the club).

We will leave Vancouver early Sunday morning and get back in the evening. The road to access this hike is apparently a bit rough so ideally drivers will have have cars that are 4WD and somewhat high clearance.

Right now the weather is looking lovely for Sunday but if this changes I may move the trip to Saturday.

More details @ pre-trip - if you can’t make this or if you have questions/concerns about your ability to do this hike please feel free to email me ([email protected]).
