Description:

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to do a day hike to the Elfin Lakes this Sunday while the weather is still good but can't drive, so unless we fancy walking all the way to Squamish (which I don't) the trip won't happen until a driver signs up.

Its a 22 km round trip and a steady 600 metre elevation gain, so not a hard hike but those wanting to join should have a decent level of fitness and must bring plenty of water. Ideally we would finish the hike before it gets too dark so we'll aim to start nice and early (5:30 is an approximate time). I'll set up a pre-trip meeting if a driver signs up. If Sunday does not work for the majority of people I would be happy to move the trip to Saturday, so I will let people decide in the question/answer section.

Drivers please be aware that the final stretch of road leading to the parking lot is a gravel/dirt road.

Anyone who joins and doesn't swim at the lake is walking home!

Please feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions.
