Description:

Come join me on a ski tour of either Gin or Sproatt peaks (depending on avalanche conditions and group mood) in search of some pow :D

Both peaks offer excellent skiing on moderate terrain. Gin peak a can be done via Hanging Lake, and is a ~10km trip with 900m elevation gain. Only donwside is that a parking pass is required!

I've done Sproatt before and greatly enjoyed skiing off the NNE face. The summit can be approached via Rainbow Lakes trail and iirc should be ~11km with about 1100m elevation gain.

If you've taken AST-1 & are a competent skier on moderate (30+ degree) terrain, this trip is for you!

Let's get out there and shred some early season pow!

Note: Trip may be moved to Sunday in the case of safer forecast -- please indicate in the questions box if that works for you!
