It doesn't matter if you've been lazy this break or super active. Join me for a chill snowshoe before the start of school at Elk Mountain.
Elk Mountain is in Chilliwack about 1hr 30min away from Vancouver. Around 8.2km out and back with 750m Gain. This will be the primary goal but we can also hit Mount Thurston depending on group speed and willingness.
Snowshoes are strongly recommended. Microspikes can be good too. It might be possible to reach Elk without either but I can't guarantee how dry your shoes will be or if you will make it past Elk.
