Description:

Please note that this trip is only for coordinating cars and other resources, you need to be going on Burns and Turns to attend this.

In desperate need of more skiing after midterms? Looking for some slightly chiller hut action? Wanna put off descending the brutal Phelix skin track? Like being outside??

I'm hoping to stay an extra day to get some more laps in and check out some neat day objectives in the Phelix area after the main B&T festivities. Unlike Declan's cool traverse, I plan on returning to the hut Monday night and then skiing out the normal way the following morning.  I know there's a couple people who are also interested and have therefore made this trip so that we can coordinate car groups and get a rough idea of who's keen.

I will probably be leading a small group to do some exploring - you can totally tag along but as I don't feel super qualified to lead beginners I'm gonna limit this group to people who have ski toured before and have their AST.

If this doesn't include you, feel free to do your own thing! Phelix is an amazing place to explore and take slayy photos. I should note however that this isn't something that you should be doing alone. You most likely will be venturing into avalanche terrain, and thus should be prepared as a group unless you are planning on staying around the hut/lake area.
