  1. Please read the Steps to the Neve trip description first.
  2. Signup priority will be given to people who have been on previous Steps to the Neve Trips.

Finally! After a full season of learning you are ready to ski the Neve! This trip will be done over three days.

Note: We will be leaving Friday AM and returning Sunday PM. If you are a fast skier and cannot make it out on Friday morning, there may be an option to catch up on Saturday.

  • Experience preferred: reasonable fitness, linking turns on skis, skiing with an overnight pack, winter camping, avalanche awareness (use Avy Savvy if you haven't taken AST1).
  • We will go over the basics of crevasse rescue (not absolutely necessary but good to know) before the trip. Glacier School Manual.

If you are willing to help out, please sign up. We will need a number of more experienced skiers to make this trip happen.

If the weather looks unreasonable this weekend, we will move the trip to another weekend.
